Why should I mark my belongings?

A. Well that ones a given if it’s not marked and you lose it when it’s found there is no way of knowing who owns it. If they are marked then you have a link to them and a good chance of recovery.

Can I use www.thatsmytag.com on my luggage?

A. Yes it is perfect for luggage, most of the time luggage is never lost it is just been sent to the wrong destination or not sent at all. So instead of being lost your luggage becomes proactive in that it tells people that with one free text message they can contact the owner.

Why not put my own mobile or home telephone number?

A. It is not difficult to do a reverse search of any telephone number to get an address even if you are ex-directory.

Why not put my zip/post code on your belongings?

A. Same answer as the phone and it is an easier search. Plus every time you move house you have to recode your belongings.

What does a tag cost you?

A. There is no charge to register. Your unique code is generated when you join and displayed on your computer screen, you have the option to print passive visual labels from your own printer, Avery do adhesive labels of different sizes that you can get from any stationary shop one sheet at a time.
NB. Shortly we will be offering rfid printed labels and passive rfid tags to order from the site.

Why should you use www.thatsmytag.com?

A. Your identity or location is not in the public domain.
You need only mark possessions once.
You can use www.thatsmytag.com for every thing you own.
It is FREE to register and mark all your possessions.
The only time you pay is if something you have lost is found and you receive a message from the site from an activated tag
